- Floor Clearance: Ensure the gap between the floor and the bed, sofa, or car chassis is more than 15 cm (5.7 in) to allow the chair’s base to slide under.
- Doorway Width: The room door or car door must have a width of at least 60 cm (23.6 in) for the chair to pass through.
- User Capability: Users must be able to sit on the edge of the bed unassisted to utilize the split-seat transfer mechanism.
- Durability: The galvanized steel construction provides long-term resistance to wear and is suitable for use in bathroom environments.
